The Phillip Charles Group has been serving the Metro Detroit area for more than 30 years. We operate three primary offices and two satellite offices, enabling us to provide superior service and talent to our client companies. The Phillip Charles Group began as a franchisee of a national staffing franchisor, opening its first office in Southfield in 1986, followed by offices in Livonia in 1989, Auburn Hills in 1990, and Taylor in 1994.

The Phillip Charles Group is a “people business,” meaning our true value lies in the relationships we build with our internal team, field staff and our client companies. Our consultative approach to staffing has enabled our clients to come to know us just as well as we have come to know them. This has allowed us to deliver candidates who are much more likely to be a proper match for a specific job and company.

As a locally-owned company, our strengths are in our team, focus on exceptional service, talent acquisition skills, deep-rooted relationships with companies and job seekers, and knowledge of the staffing industry as well as local, regional and national trends. Our senior leadership team is directly involved in the daily operation of the company, which allows us to quickly respond to shifts in the marketplace from both an economic and talent perspective. The reliability and consistency that we provide means that our clients receive the same trusted process and desired outcomes whenever they utilize our services.

The experienced and dedicated employees at The Phillip Charles Group have been with the company for an average of 14 years. All of them share a common love of helping others advance their careers. Having a team with such depth of knowledge, skills and experience gives our customers the peace of mind knowing that our team is able to go above and beyond when it comes to locating the most appropriate talent for their business.

In addition to their extensive experience in the staffing industry, the majority of our employees are certified through the American Staffing Association as Certified Staffing Professionals, and through the National Association of Personnel Services as Certified Temporary Specialists and Certified Personnel Consultants.  Many of our employees hold all three industry certifications, which demonstrates our dedication to continuing education in employment and contract law.

Being a family-run and family-focused business, it was important to us to pay homage to our to deep family lineage. The name “Phillip” and “Charles” play prominent roles in our family, so it was only fitting for them to form the name of the company. This also demonstrates our commitment to developing long-lasting relationships and prioritizing the wellbeing of our clients and employees.
